Seasons of Waiting

Seeking after Christ for what is to come.
Trusting that He will bring it to pass.
Hoping that He will reveal the plan.

There are seasons in our life when we are seeking Christ, not knowing what He has in store for us after the season that we are in. We are prayerfully considering the options, if any, that are given to us. We are walking in faith and believing that He is ordaining our steps.

There are seasons in our life when we are seeking Christ and believe that He has called us to a certain task, and we are preparing ourself to fulfill that task. We trust and believe that He will provide and that He will prepare the way for us to follow in obedience.

You may be in a season like one of these, as I am. Or you may be in a completely different season in your life.

Yet in whatever season we are in, our hope is in what He is calling us to do. And many times we experience silence and confusion. It is a season of waiting. We don’t see what God is doing. It’s a season of trust. During that time, we must be faithful.

Our obedience and our faith are more important than what He has called us to do.

He will bring His plan to pass, but until He does – we must continue to follow Him where we are at.

These are wonderful words of encouragement and hope for me tonight.
I hope they can be the same to you.
